Joy Monster

You can’t keep your smile in, when you look at his smiling face.

I create intarsia knitted pieces that evoke the feelings of joy as my personal act of resistance as well as a reclamation of the basic human need for joy.

This piece is made with hand-dyed, knitted and felted wool yarn.

The Joy monster brings glimmers of joy to an increasingly anxious population.
